Terms & Conditions - Verbo Computers (Last Updated 2020)
1. PRICES AND PRODUCTS
(a) For all prices and products, Verbo Computer reserve the right to make adjustments due to errors, changing market conditions, product discontinuation or typographical errors in advertisements.
(b) Verbo Computers are not responsible for manufacturer price changes, which may occur at any time without notice.
(c) The Customer is advised to keep all packing material and documentation in the event the equipment has to be serviced or returned.
(a) Verbo Computers will try their upmost to provide products free from defective material and workmanship and, subject to condition set forth herein, agree to repair or replacement in accordance with manufacturer’s warranties from the date of original retail purchase without charge to parts and/or labour.
(b) In the event same or equivalent products are unavailable Verbo Computers will refund the item at the cost at point of sale.
(c) Warranty period is one year unless otherwise stated. This warranty is limited to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
(d) By placing the order, the Customer agrees to the current pricing and the terms posted.
(e) No price adjustments will be made after shipment.
(f) All deliveries must be checked before being signed for or must be signed ‘unchecked’.
(g) All name-brand products have their own specific manufacturer warranties. Please contact the manufacturer directly for any warranty issues.
(h) OEM/Generic products carry a one-year return to base warranty from the purchase date through Verbo Computers unless otherwise stated.
(i) Verbo Computers will not be liable for any loss of profits, business, revenue, data or anticipated savings sustained by the Customer or any special, indirect, or consequential loss of other hardware parts.
(j) The Customer is advised to regularly backup essential data/software.
(a) Deliveries showing immediate fault/damage should be signed for accordingly i.e. damaged/open box, the Customer is responsible for ensure all staff are aware of such procedures.
(b) Any damaged or faulty on arrival products must be reported to Verbo Computers within 24 hours.
(c) Any items missing should be reported to Verbo Computers within 24 hours.
(d) Customers are responsible for all shipping charges and risk of loss on all return shipments unless otherwise agreed.
(e) Verbo Computers recommends the use of reputable carriers capable of providing proof of delivery as well as insurance covering the value of the shipment.
(f) All returns must be sent pre-paid; No C.O.D’s will be accepted.
(g) Return address is (per invoice address). Shipping and handling is non-refundable.
(h) Shipping damage and lost packages must be claimed to the shipping carrier at the time of delivery.
(i) Any product reported faulty and returned must be thoroughly tested over a 7 day period before any refund will be given unless otherwise agreed. No cash refund will be given without prior notice.
(j) Defective products will only be accepted by Verbo Computers for exchange or repair within 30 days from the invoice date. After 30 days, the manufacturer’s warranty applies.
(k) Opened software and special order items such as custom cables are non-refundable and can only be replaced with the same item.
(l) Returned printers with ink or toner seals broken will incur a minimum restocking fee of 25%.
(m) No returns on any type of CPUs or memory modules.
(n) Physically damaged or abused products will not be accepted for any return or replacement.
(o) CPU’s having burned spot, lost pin, or scratch on dye is treated as physical damage.
(p) Product(s) returned without defects will be subject to a fee of 25%.
(q) All products to be returned and/or replaced must be received within 30 days from the invoice date, 100% complete, in resalable condition, and must include original packing material, manuals, blank warranty cards and other accessories provided by the manufacturer.
(r) Verbo Computers reserves the right to authorize product returns beyond 30 days from the invoice date.
(a) Verbo Computers will not be liable for software/data whilst works are being carried out.
(b) The Customer is advised to backup essential data prior to handover or to request a backup created before works are carried out.
(c) Verbo Computers will not be liable for any loss of profits, business, revenue, data or anticipated savings sustained by the Customer or any special, indirect, or consequential loss of other hardware parts.
(d) Any advice or recommendations given to the Customer by Verbo Computers or its employees or agents as to storage, application, use or preference of the goods which is not confirmed in writing by Verbo Computers , is followed or acted upon entirely at the Customer’s own risk and accordingly Verbo Computers shall not be liable for any such advice or recommendation which is not so confirmed.
No Fix, No Fee:
Verbo Computers will not charge labour rates for field service attendance or workshop tasks where the engineer is unable to solve the problem. This clause will not apply if the Customer has provided insufficient information with regards to the problem or has lost/misplaced vital software required to solve the problem. For field service visits a call out fee will remain chargeable.
5. RATES (excluding VAT at 20%)

(a) If an account has been granted credit terms will be confirmed in writing to the Customer, i.e. 7 days from invoice date, 15 days from invoice date, 30 days from invoice date or 60 days from invoice date, credit limit allowed and rates.
(b) Errors found on invoices must be reported within 5 working days.
(c) In the absence of payment being received a £12.50 surcharge will be applied on the overdue day and is payable without dispute – suspension of services may apply until said payments are received (statements will be sent either fortnightly or monthly depending on account terms).
(d) In the absence of credit facilities being granted payment shall be required in advance or on completion of works or on receipt of goods.
(e) An administration fee of £35.00 will be charged against any payment which does not clear.
7. RETENTION OF TITLE
(a) Until all debts are paid in full products supplied remain the property of Verbo Computers .
(b) At such times the Customer allows Verbo Computers permission to enter any premises where products are being stored or used at any time to inspect them and/or to remove them.
(c) Verbo Computers reserves the right to stop supplying products/services during this time.
All rights reserved. All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
(a) Verbo Computers reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time.
(b) Changes will be notified in writing to the Customer in accordance with their account terms and posted via 1st Class, email and also registered on the website (www.verbo.co.uk/acctterms.htm) it is the responsibility of the Customer to read the Terms and Conditions on each occasion.
(c) The most current version of the Terms & Conditions will supersede all previous versions.
(d) The Customers continued use of Verbo Computers after changes are made to the Terms and Conditions will mean they agree to be bound by such changes.
(e) Should the Customer not wish to accept the new Terms and Conditions they are to discontinue use of Verbo Computers services.
